A simple guide to Chaos & Clarity

Welcome — I’m glad you’re here.

Most of life happens somewhere between chaos and clarity.
Some days I’m dialed in, some days I’m drifting, and most days I’m somewhere in between — realigning, correcting, or trying to keep pace with a life that rarely slows down.

Chaos & Clarity is my weekly snapshot of that journey.

It’s not self-help.
It’s not productivity hacking.
It’s not “10 Steps to Fix Your Life.”

It’s something much simpler (and hopefully more honest):
A quick record of where I drifted, what I corrected, what I learned, and what clarity looks like right now.

Whether you’re a founder, operator, parent, leader, or someone navigating a busy modern life — I think you’ll find pieces of your own week in mine.

What You’ll Find Here

1. Weekly Issues

Every week I publish a short reflection on:

  • Where I drifted

  • What I corrected

  • What I learned

  • What I’d do differently next time

  • And where the clarity is now

It’s simple, honest, and easy to read in a few minutes.

2. Short Bursts & Notes

Between issues, I’ll sometimes share quick Notes — small thoughts, reminders, or moments worth capturing.

3. Occasional Tools I Rely On

I may occasionally write about the tools, routines, or systems that help me stay steady (even imperfectly): things like Peloton, Oura Ring, ToDoist, Slack, Endel, and my own planning rhythms.

Who I Am

I’m Jack Taugher — husband, dad, founder, recreational pilot, and Chief Visionary Officer at AIR Technology Services, an IT services company based in Wisconsin.

Most of my work involves helping businesses stay secure, stable, and sane in environments that don’t naturally stay orderly.

Chaos & Clarity is where I share the internal version of that work — the human side of keeping things on track.

A Final Note

This newsletter is a conversation, not a lecture.
I write it to stay grounded — and I hope it gives you space to breathe, reflect, and feel a little less alone in the constant motion of life.
