Altitude Lessons, Applied at Sea Level
Altitude teaches you very quickly what the body can and cannot pretend about.
There are no shortcuts through thin air.
No faking it.
No pushing through by force of personality.
No cheating your biology.
At 15,580 feet, the truth is immediate:
Breathe.
Slow down.
Listen.
Or you won’t make it.
The older I get, the more I realize sea level needs the same rules.
Most overwhelm isn’t caused by too many responsibilities — it’s caused by ignoring your internal altitude:
fatigue
stress
emotional load
hunger
lack of movement
too much noise
too little rest
If you treated your daily life with the same respect you treat a mountain pass, you’d make fewer reckless decisions.
The body always tells the truth.
Most of us just don’t want to hear it until we’re forced to.
If this resonated with you, would you share this?

Phew, I’m feeling that this week… really feeling overwhelmed and ungrounded for first time in a while . Thanks for this perspective buddy
